Timothy B. Kinney

Timothy B. Kinney is a partner in TKG&K, and his areas of practice include divorce, custody, child support, grandparent's rights, criminal defense, and civil litigation. He has extensive trial experience and is a member of the Westmoreland Academy of Trial Lawyers. He is a 1990 graduate from Pennsylvania State University, where he majored in History, graduating with Honors. He attended the University of Toledo College of Law, and received his J.D. in 1993.

Tim is admitted to practice in all Pennsylvania State Courts, as well as the Federal District Court for the Western District, the Third Circuit Court of Appeals, and the United States Supreme Court.

Tim has been a member of the Westmoreland Bar Association and Pennsylvania Bar Association since 1993, and served as Chair of the Young Lawyers Division. Additionally, Tim currently maintains active status as a member in the Ned J. Nakles Inn of Court. He is also a member of the Fayette County Bar Association.

In 2014, Tim completed extensive training to become a mediator and he is a firm believer that the mediation process provides quicker, cheaper, and better solutions to families going through the divorce and custody process. Tim has mediated a wide array of domestic matters, and is happy to provide mediation services to interested parties.
